[av_toggle title=’Do I need a doctor’s referral for treatment?’ tags=” custom_id=” av_uid=’av-ghkzbe’ sc_version=’1.0′]
You don’t need a referral to receive Physiotherapy, Chiropractic, Massage Therapy, and/or Acupuncture treatment. A small number of insurance plans may ask that you get a doctor’s referral in order to receive reimbursement for the treatments you participate in. We typically advise patients to double check their coverage ahead of time in case their insurance plan operates that way.

[av_toggle title=’Do you accept Car Accident and WSIB patients?’ tags=” custom_id=” av_uid=’av-dg10ai’ sc_version=’1.0′]
Yes, we definitely do. Anyone who has experienced a car accident or workplace injury can bring their claims to our clinic and receive treatment. Please bring all relevant documents with you including your claim number, insurance info, and contacts with respect to the claim.

[av_toggle title=’Does my insurance plan cover treatment?’ tags=” custom_id=” av_uid=’av-d1mylm’ sc_version=’1.0′]
If you have extended health insurance, or have been injured in a car accident or workplace incident, your treatment will likely be covered. If you are using extended health insurance, you can check the details of your coverage by contacting your insurance company or speaking to your employer’s HR department.

[av_toggle title=’Do you directly bill my insurance plan?’ tags=” custom_id=” av_uid=’av-azmke2′ sc_version=’1.0′]
Yes, we certainly do. However, please keep in mind that a small number of extended insurance plans may require you to pay up front. In this case, you can use the invoice you receive from us after your session(s), and submit that to your insurance company for reimbursement.

[av_toggle title=’What do I need to bring with me?’ tags=” custom_id=” av_uid=’av-7gtg96′ sc_version=’1.0′]
We often recommend you wear shorts and a t-shirt/tank top, or anything loose and comfortable. If you believe anything that you use (example: running shoes, photos of your work/desk station, etc.) are contributing to your issues, please bring that too).

Bring any imaging, tests, medical documents, and/or reports related to your injury or condition to your appointment as that can help with your assessment. Also bring any relevant insurance cards, claim numbers, and other info required to bill your services.

[av_toggle title=’Is there a cancellation policy?’ tags=” custom_id=” av_uid=’av-1wcl5m’ sc_version=’1.0′]
We kindly ask that you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled appointment, otherwise a $50 charge will apply. Our 24 hours’ notice policy allows other patients to book into appointment slots you no longer need.
